Thirty years ago, John Vander Woude moved his family and business to Idaho in order to give them the opportunity to grow and thrive in a state where small businesses were common and families were valued. John has been married for 37 years to his wife Judy. They have three married children, two sons and one daughter, and ten grandchildren. Today, John is the partner and owner of several small businesses in District 21. John has been a dairyman, a service provider, and now a retail store owner. He has had the pleasure of working alongside his two sons in these business ventures.
John has been an active member of his community. He currently serves as a Board Member for the Kuna Boys and Girls Club and on the state board of the Dairy Herd Improvement Association (DHIA). John also served on the Idaho Dairy Products Commission (IDPC) and on the Board of Trustees for Nampa Christian Schools for sixteen years. He is a member of the NRA and is a U.S. Army Veteran. John previously served the people of District 21 as their State Representative from 2006 to 2008, and he is again looking for your support to bring him back to the statehouse to give a voice to the hardworking taxpayers of District 21.
